I've been terrible about keeping up with the blog since I have had horrible m/s. I am nearing 10 weeks though and I can't believe it! We had a bit of a scare when we learned that the dr's office messed up meds and dosages. I was bleeding on and off for a few weeks. I had an u/s last week and baby looked great! Last night I started getting a very sore throat and fever. I am so glad the kids are in school and I can rest some. I took a belly pic yesterday, I don't remember popping out so soon with my kids...oh well.

One precious little kidney bean! :) Measuring 5 weeks and 1 day. EDD is April 26th. My IM and I both let out a sigh of relief. Seeing is believing sometimes! Big sister says she is having a brother and wanted to take him home already. She is such a sweetie! I'm so glad to be helping such a sweet family! Next ultrasound is next Tuesday the 1st. Should hopefully be able to see a tiny heart beating!

I had my second beta on Monday (today is Wednesday). My first beta was 29 at 7.5dp5dt and today it was 138 a 10.5dp5dt. YAY!! I've been impatiently waiting for good news. It's funny how I feel so much more worried than I did with my kids. When I was pregnant with each of mine, except Blake, the first, I was more like "OH NO!" lol ~ I've been feeling queasy and mostly REALLY tired. Next appointment is an ultrasound on Tuesday the 25th to see how many are growing in there. I have a good feeling it's only one :)

Finally yesterday was the day that P and A found out the good news! The blood test confirmed the pregnancy and she was over the moon. I never thought there would be a time in my life (unless I became a nurse, lol) that I would be telling someone else that they were having a baby! :) She asked me a few times if I was serious and I was sure, haha, um, ya, kinda sure ! She told her hubby and she said he was very happy! She told me her mom and her shared tears! Awe!

How I'm feeling.....Pregnant! I think the meds heighten the symptoms too. Sore boobs in addition to the increased size, nausea, tired, and a little crampy. All symptoms I will gladly take:)

Next appointment is on Monday the 17th to make sure my number doubles!

Does she want me to jus tell her?

So, my IM still doesn't know that she's having a baby! Grrrr...I want to tell her SO bad. Tomorrow is beta day though, so not much longer to wait! I talked to her on the phone today and got by and then tonight we were having a conversation on yahoo and I thought I'd post it since I got such a kick out of her subtly asking for clues. Here it is...

p: We tried our webcam for the first time tonight. It was fun. Deidre liked it. Can't say I enjoyed the view of myself though

p: He was able to get a later flight, but said he was running through the airport - once he got to the right one- and they were calling his name overhead

p: just needs to pay more attention, instead of thinking he's going through the same motions week after week!

p: yes - I think the progest makes you tired!

A Positive!

I got my first positive HPT last night. I am in shock. I guess not that I thought it wasn't going to happen, but it's something with such a long time leading up to now and it's finally come true! I can't tell my IP's since she already told me not to tell her until I have my beta on friday. She's been through a lot and I am sure she jus wants to wait until the blood test. Hurry up friday!!!

Transfer Done!!

Yesterday was my transfer. Wow - have I been nervous. I am pretty sure my knees were shaking when they put me in the stirrups! My IM and I had a good day. They transferred 2 / 5 day embies. I am praying that they are snuggling in right now. My lining was an 18 and triple, which is plenty of cushion for them. We went and had Thai food for lunch and then headed home. Next Friday is my Beta, of course I will be POAS before then (In Surro language that stands for peeing on a stick :) ) I know it is in God's hands from here. I hope he has good plans for them!

Feeling BLAH!

I took my last lupron shot last night ~ I am SO glad to be done with them! Hopefully no more headaches. Of course, I started adding the progesterone to the estrogen, so....well, I am sure I am not going to be feeling that much better. A friend of mine said to me today, I could never go through all of that for someone else. I told her it's called "sacrifice". My IM would be completely fine feeling how I feel right now if it meant that she could carry her own baby! Some of us are lucky enough to have been able to be pregnant with our children, to feel the first flutter, the first kick, and watch our bellies move. Others are not so lucky. I'm just glad that God had such a great way to bring us closer to each other. I would hope if I was on the other end, someone else would be sacrificial enough to help me and my family. Thanks be to God for his miraculous ways!

4 more days til transfer!

I'm Ready!

So, I've been on meds since July 14th getting my body all ready for the hopeful pregnancy. Today I went in for my blood work and ultrasound and everything looks great! My lining is a 10 and E2 is 460. It's all set for the embryo transfer in 6 days, on August 6th. :) I'm waiting for the call with the official time. Peg asked me the other day if I was getting nervous and I quickly said no but then changed my answer to YES. Lol. I am feeling anxious and nervous all at the same time. Regardless, my body is ready and I guess I am too!
